There is a not so subtle art to sharing tent space...especially at 23,000 ft. The temperature can fluctuate from 20 degrees f outside to 90 degrees f inside. Boredom can be an unkind mistress. There is only so much reading to do. There is only so much conversation, only so many jokes, only so many stories to tell... and retell. It takes a special kind of partnership. Thanks @adrianballinger for making it as easy as it can be. Here's to what it takes to simply be... . . . Hmmm... I always thought it would be a struggle to stay warm in a tent at such high altitude... whats the secret to a sauna-tent?? 😳😜

once spoke to a kid who lived on a portaledge for 13 days with his best buddy. His advice: heaps of marihuana & animal crackers to fight wars with.

This is a rad photo really captures life in its most extreme form two guys on a mountain holding tight in a domicile transitioning through the stages to summit Everest chilling out playing it cool keeping things moving and loaded for bear. I love this picture you too dude's must really love each other. Would you mind if I reposted this on my Instagram. What's funny about me as a kid growing up about 16 years old I bought a north face VE – 24 dome tent with snow ports I paid like 500 bucks for it and my mom was pretty cool so I set it up in my room put my bed in their head my stereo in there and slept in it. It was a pretty cool way to sleep in a house in your tent, what do you think about that. People would come over the relatives and will come up to check out my cool pad. I love that tent. I got to say your photography is outstanding especially like the mixture of black-and-white shots I took a black-and-white film developing course and photo class in college. My aunt used to work in a bank and she used to go to the vault with Ansell Adams and put his negatives in there. I'm just getting started with Instagram I am a writer/outdoors man who loves to inspire people! I posted on your account or your buddies account when you're about to summit and said inch by inch it's a cinch remember reading that? Thanks my man let me know on the repost...πŸ˜ƒ
